Ethno On The Road - Live in Sweden

It has already become a tradition that each year a selected group of Ethno Sweden participants are invited to come back after the camp to perform and participate in workshops in Sweden. In the first week of October, 6 musicians and 2 leaders are coming together for over 12 performances and workshops in schools and folk festivals.

3 - 4 August: Traditional Music Workshops with Ethno In Transit

Ethno In Transit is a fantastic international world music big band with members coming from 7 countries. This summer will be really busy for them as they are playing throughout Europe at numerous festivals, including the gargantuan Sziget Festival in Budapest.

This week they will be making a stop in Lunz am See, the lovely market town in the south “Mostviertel” region of Austria. In collaboration with the More Ohr Less Festival, the Ethno In Transit band members will host no less than five workshops, topped up by a concert on the Lunz lakeside stage.

Ethno in Transit 2009 travel plans…

Ethno in Transit, a touring group of Ethno musicians, leaders and organizers will be at Ethno Histria in July 09 and afterwards head to Estonia (Vijlandi Folkmusic Festival) and Austria, followed by a Balkan tour!
